After the Surgeon General match. Titanium cut
I won the match but they still managed to cut a 7" long by 1/2" wide gash through 1/4" titanium. Team Loki (the team of Surgeon General) was proud of their work so they signed it.
What does "Aces and Eights" mean?
In 1876 Wild Bill Hickok was playing poker in a saloon in Deadwood, South Dakota. Unfortunately, he got careless and sat with his back to the door. One of his enemies quietly entered and snuck up behind him. He pulled out his pistol and shot Wild Bill in the back, killing him instantly. Next to his lifeless body sat his last poker hand - the 2 black aces and the 2 black eights. From then on this hand has been known as "The Dead Mans Hand" and it's considered bad luck to get these cards dealt to you.
How does this relate to BattleBots?
It's the luck of the draw that determines who you're going to be matched against in the Battlebox. Therefore, just as in poker, it's bad luck to draw "Aces and Eights".
